SALT LAKE CITY RESIDENT BECOMES APLD CERTIFIEDHarrisburg, PA – The Association of Professional Landscape Designers® (APLD) – the only organization offering certification for landscape designers – has announced that Rick Laughlin of Salt Lake City has successfully completed the submission and review process leading to such certification.APLD certification program provides professional recognition to landscape designers, based on established standards of excellence. This process encourages self-assessment by offering guidelines for achievement. Certification is available for Associate APLD members in good standing, who have been practicing landscape design for a minimum of four years. To encourage certified members to continue their education, it is required that they recertify every three years, with 30 contact hours of continuing education credits. Rick Laughlin, APLD of Laughlin Design Associates, Inc., Salt Lake City, Utah is now APLD Certified. Laughlin has provided landscape design services for 16 years and serves the Wasatch Front.
