A greener office space

Creating a calmer office space

How to achieve a cooler, greener and calmer office space.  Changing a few simple things you too can have a better, more relaxing  work environment.

By changing your lighting to CFLs, LEDs or HALOGEN you can achieve a greener office space.   If you don’t have adequate windows be sure to choose lighting that is easy on your eyes and  eco-friendly.

Those curly light bulbs(CFLs) are rather green and easy on the eyes.  LEDs are extremely energy efficient and green while becoming increasingly popular.

Do not forget the fixtures you place your bulbs in, ie. from materials that are “cool” like recycled plastics and metal.

Also, by creating maximum window space you can create a direct link to nature and enhance the best day time lighting.

It allows fresh air(environmental conditions with standing) and allows natural light to green up your plants.  If you add a skylight it will decrease the need for ceiling lighting while adding to your positive mood.
